A Visit From Grandma Ann ...

This weekend Travis' mom came to visit us. There was a lot of drama with the plane breaking down and many - many time delays but eventually she made it here safe and sound Friday night!! We all had a nice time and we think she did too. The kids kept her hopping so she will probably need to sleep for 2 days just to catch up on her rest but we enjoyed her visit and look forward to her next one. We mainly stayed around the house this weekend but we did manage to take the kids to a really cool festival (which I will post pictures of next) and out to dinner. The festival was fun - the weather was great and everyone had a good time. Originally we were going to just grill steaks instead of going out to dinner but since we were at the festival all day we decided to bite the bullet and take everyone out. That could have gone better but wasn't disastrous and everyone survived with minor battle wounds :-) My boys are a handful and it's hard for them to be good when we go out to eat or really when we go out in public in general so until we can get them to behave in a more "public friendly" fashion so we can limit the amount of dirty looks we get when we go out in public - we tend to stay home a lot :-) I am not saying my boys are wild animals but we need to learn "inside voices" and stuff like that :-)
