Where does it all come from?

This morning I was awaken to the normal Adam babble. So I rolled out of out bed and headed to the crib. As I got closer to the crib my sinuses opened up and I realized that he must have a poopy diaper. I had no idea the extent of what I was going to find!!!

How can one little kid poop so much!!! Where does it all come from? It was everywhere!! I expected him to have a big one at some point because he didn't go all day yesterday but this was a crazy big make-up poop! It took me 20 minutes just to get him cleaned up enough to get him into the tub! Then another 20 minutes of cleaning up the crib and changing table, rinsing out his clothes, etc.

So now I am on a cleaning kick and feel that everything in the house needs to be scrubbed from top to bottom. The only problem is I am not in a condition to be able to do it myself so I am making lists for Travis and Ashleigh - they will be so thrilled when they get home :-)

Wait until you have the vomit...oh that is just fun!!! Mandee had a really bad one the other night. She didn't cry out or anything, she just moved to the opposite side of her crib. Well my nose caught up with it eventually as I heard Emmalee said, "that is just gose!!"

Well you guessed it, Mark slept thru the entire thing...but I made sure to make enough noise so that he wasn't sleeping too soundly!! It took me 30 minutes to get Mandee to the changing table. I had to wash everything in her bed...twice (as it didn't all come out the first time). I had to wash her hair 5 times as stuff would not come out. And the whole time I had an audience with Miss Emmalee who was so kind in reminding me what I missed. She kept asking Mandee if she was okay...then telling her how "gose" everything was. And Mandee spent all of her time telling me she was sorry.

Having two babies at the same time makes things scarce sometimes. I had to scrounge an old crib sheet for Mandee and an old crochet blanket of Caitee's. Mandee didn't have her necessary buddy Dankie (blankie), but Emmalee was so kind to point out that it was yuck and gose right now. However, Miss Emmalee refused to share a blanket with her sister. Mandee didn't complain...but spent the majority of the next day sleeping.

There is nothing like a running commentary at 3AM!!

Poop is gross. I've been changing diapers for over NINE years STRAIGHT. I feel your pain.
