No Time

I can't seem to find time to blog ???? At the end of everyday I try to re-cap all of the events that took place to make sure that I am always making the best use of my time. Since the birth of our son I have found that to be a very frustrating task. Where does the time go? I know I am not sitting around with my feet up eating bon-bon's so what am I doing? In an effort to try and figure this out I started keeping a daily log of activities - just for a few days to make sure I am really am as busy as I feel like I am. I won't bore you with the whole weeks but here is a typical Monday ...

4:30 AM - wake up and feed the baby - pray he goes back to sleep
5:00 AM - get ready for work
5:30 AM - leave the house for my hour long commute to the office
3:00 PM - head out for my hour long commute home
4:00 PM - pick up the boy - which since I haven't seen him all day takes a bit because I like to hold him before I throw him in the car for the drive home
4:30 PM - arrive home - help Ashleigh with her homework, unpack diaper back, make new bottles for the next day
5:00 PM - make dinner, clean up around the house
6:45 PM - take Ashleigh to gymnastics
7:15 PM - give Adam a bath and get him ready for bed and get his stuff ready for the next day
8:15 PM - Travis and Ashleigh come home - YEAH
8:30 PM - Start getting everyone off to bed
9:00 PM - I shower and get ready for bed
9:30 PM - I am asleep

These were my notes for last Monday ... I do this same schedule with a few alterations here and there all week and then on Friday's I work from home so I can get all of my housework done while I work. It works out well for me because then I have more time on the weekends to play with my family :-)

Adam is now 3 months old! The time is flying by and before I know it he will be all grown up ... just like Ashleigh! I can't believe she is going to Middle School next year. It seems like just the other day we took her to the bus stop and I cried my eyes out as she climbed up those stairs to the bus. The bus that looked too big for my little girl to be on. The bus that has taken her back and forth for 6 years now. It just goes by so fast. I am trying to keep that in mind as Adam is growing up - I take a lot more time to stop and remember exactly what he looks like and memorize every change - it doesn't slow the process down but I hope that I can look back and feel like I spent all the time I could with him. I've spend the last 3 days with him because yesterday was a holiday - we hung out a lot and when Travis took him to daycare I cried and cried :(

Hopefully I will do better at blogging this week!!!
