We started with a clapboard and movie reel balloon bouquet on the mailbox to alert movie goes of the party location!
Then we made a GRAND entrance for everyone on the RED carpet!!! Please note that we hired a REAL actress to play the part of the BIRTHDAY GIRL ;-)
And now Ashleigh is off to prepare for the arrival of all of her HOLLYWOOD friends!
We had lots of food .. taco bar, cup cakes, candy, popcorn, chips & MORE! We decorated the house with stars and various HOLLYWOOD THEME decor!
Ashleigh took a moment contemplated her age ... or maybe it was her hair - I can't remember :-)
Once the guest arrived Miss Suzy came to talk to the girl about skin care and how to apply your makeup in a conservative way! The girls loved it. THANKS MISS SUZY!!!
After the girls did their makeovers we decided to let them do a photo shoot ... it got a little silly but the girls sure had fun!!!
Then we moved on to present time! Ashleigh got such wonderful gifts! Thank you to everyone!
Ashleigh takes another moment to ponder ... does her makeup look alright? Is her hair perfect? Yes - I think we can continue the party :-)
Adam ... the way to his heart is through his stomach and Adam found a friend at the party who will not only fetch candy for him but will open it for him too. Adam didn't let Brianna out of his sight all night! I am pretty sure he plans to marry her for her candy opening abilities :-)
The girls decided to play with the balloons. At one point in my preparation for this party I thought 13 year olds were maybe too old for balloons ... apparently not ...
After balloons we did an ice cream sundae bar! This was a huge hit and I will most definitely be doing it again! As a matter of fact - we've had sundae bar night every night since her party - can't let all those toppings go to waste ;-)
Travis even helped Ashleigh get a little more whipped cream!
The girls watched movies until about 2 AM and then they fell asleep. They watched movies like How To Lose A Guy In 10 Dates, 50 First Dates, Etc.
I made pancakes for all the girls the next morning and then took the girls who were still there Halloween Costume shopping and to the outlet mall! We had a great time!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEIGH! WE LOVE YOU!!!

You could seriously become a party planner. I'm glad Ashleigh had fun!!
I would just like to clarify about that picture of me and miss Suzy! The reason that my smile lookes so weird and my cheeks are puffed up like a chipmunk's, is because I had a mouthfull of food during the time that the picture was taken. Attractive- right:) ?
