There are so many things that I need to catch up on here on my blog but I am going to have to jump ahead and post what happened to Adam yesterday. My sweet lttile rough and tumble boy ran into the door jam at school and busted his head open. He is such a strong boy that he didn't even cry. Not when it happened or when he got is 8 stitches! We tried to take him to the regular hospital but they wouldn't see him because he was under 2 years of age so then we took him to Children's Urgent Care but they wouldn't see him because the cut was too big and deep so we ended up going to the Children's Hospital to which the first doctor didn't want to do it because it was too deep so they ended up calling a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon who ended up doing a wonderful job! Below is a before picture and I tried to get an after picture but he wasn't able to sit up very well from the medication so I just took a one-handed video instead. I know he has a binky in this picture so I feel that I should mention that typically he only gets a binky at bedtime but he found it in the diaper bag and due to the circumstances I didn't fight him for it - he also got a total of 6 lolly pops, a bag a skittles and 2 match box cars to go with his stitches :-)
